USE OF THE WEBSITE
UK Legislation
This website is wholly owned and managed by BHT, of which Eddy is a registered trademark. It is governed by UK law and aims to meet the requirements laid down by the Distance Selling Directives and the British Code of Advertising and Sales Promotion.

Registration/use of shop
You must be over 18 to purchase from the on-line shop. All details supplied must be correct and complete to the best of your knowledge. If you do not wish to accept the Terms and Conditions you should discontinue your use of the site. BHT reserves the right to refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.

Disclaimer
We use all reasonable endeavours to ensure all details recorded on this website are accurate, however we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. The website is subject to change from time to time. We will not be held responsible for any claim or compensation should any details on this website appear inaccurate, however we always aim to supply an outstanding service and will endeavour to resolve any dispute to the best of our ability.

BHT owns the copyright on all materials on this site including photographs. You agree not to adapt, alter or create any derivative work from any material on this site, or to restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of this site by anyone else.

Website security
All of the information that you give us via the website is handled with the utmost respect and confidentiality. We ensure the security of the site by encrypting any of the information that you supply through a secure socket layer (SSL) before it is sent to us. Irrespective of SSL security, credit card data is not retained on the web server but immediately passed into BHT's internal systems. Nobody is able to obtain your credit card details or other information other than BHT. No personal or financial details are left unencrypted on a remote server, and such details are never sent by unencrypted internet email. By accepting these terms and conditions when you make a purchase, you authorise BHT to process payment from the credit card details supplied and to conduct validation checks by cross checking your details.

PURCHASE OF GOODS / SERVICES
Payments
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Delta for Online payments, also cheque or Postal Order for orders via ordinary mail. Payment will be taken from your payment card account only when goods are despatched.

Delivery and Fulfilment
Once you have ordered a product from us, we aim to deliver it within 7 working days from the date of purchase. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot deliver within 7 working days we will try to contact you let you know. Method of delivery will vary dependent on the cost of goods purchased, but will always require a signature on delivery. If you are not at home when we deliver, a non-delivery card will be posted through your letterbox, which advises that we tried to deliver. You will then be required to call the number specified to arrange an alternative date for delivery. Please note that due to security reasons we reserve the right not to deliver products to any other address than that of the credit/debit card holder.

Delivery Restrictions
Delivery is free within the UK. For overseas orders please contact us so that we can investigate the possibility of delivery to your country.

Returns Policy
You have a right to cancel this contract and return the goods within 12 months of purchase for any reason in accordance with our 12 month no quibble satisfaction guarantee. If you wish to do so, you must provide proof of purchase and return the goods in perfect condition. Please contact us by email at admin@eddy.gb.com to arrange the return of the goods or telephone us on 020 8287 6668. Our office is available from 9am until 5pm Mon - Fri. For your own protection we will request that the goods be returned via recorded delivery (at the expense of you the customer). The goods are considered your property until we have given legal recognition of their return. You must notify us if you believe that you have received damaged, faulty or incomplete goods. We will then contact you to arrange a replacement or solution. We require proof of payment to process refunds, therefore please ensure that you keep your invoice safely.

Order Acceptance and Processing
After you have successfully placed an order with us, you will receive an acknowledgement by e-mail of the order you have placed. For security purposes, we reserve the right not to deliver the goods to any address other than that of the registered credit/debit card holder. We reserve the right to refuse any order or part thereof at anytime, either prior to or after sending you our e-mail confirmation. Subject to any rights granted to you under applicable consumer law, we accept no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from our inability to do so or our decision on reasonable grounds not to do so, provided that we take all reasonable steps to notify you within 28 days of placing the order that the goods will not be shipped as ordered. In such cases we will not process any payment or will immediately refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from us with sufficient lead time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from such non-shipment. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
Personal Data
The obligations that are set out under the 1998 Data Protection Act tie us to certain legal criteria that we as a partnership take very seriously. If you contact a supplier through our website or independently they may collect your data and use it in a manner governed by different rules and guidelines to the ones set out here. You are entitled to see any personal information we hold about you and to amend or change it if incorrect. Under the Data Protection Act we can charge up to a £10 administration fee. We will not sell, trade or rent your personal information and endeavour to treat it with the utmost confidentiality. We may track the use of the site with regards to traffic, sales pattern and trends etc, however no personal information will be included. The only circumstances in which personal details will be disclosed are when i) required to do so by law ii) in response to valid legal request enforceable by law or governmental agencies iii) where you have given your consent for us to do so in which case we may therefore pass on information about products and promotions which we deem would be of interest to you. iv) To administer our business v) To conduct security checks and ascertain the accuracy of the data provided by you. vi) To obtain a credit worthiness check or process payment. Your personal details will be used to process the payment of the goods. We always ask for a telephone number so in the unlikely event that a problem should arise we can inform you immediately and arrange to take the appropriate action.

Unsolicited email
We do not pass any email addresses on to any third party. Your email address is only used in order to communicate with you regarding your order or in connection with your subsequent use of the Eddy product.
